2026 zdm ferry schedule
In the summer of 2024, Star Line Ferry was acquired and rebranded as Arnold Transit. As of January 2025, Arnold Ferry has increased their prices to $28 per person round trip. Due to this increase, we will NOT be able to include the ferry ticket price into your registration fee. Riders planning to travel to the island will have the opportunity to purchase optional ferry tickets during the ride registration process for the discounted group rates.

ARNOLD FERRY PARKING
Based on price, we recommend the Arnold Standard Parking Lot located at 708 S Huron Ave, Mackinaw City, MI 49701
DAY: $10 / OVERNIGHT $20 (Self-Pay QR Code Parking)

The Arnold Garage/Shed is located at this lot and where some luggage is stored AND FREE overnight bike storage. (Lock your bike!)

There are complimentary shuttles to and from the Arnold Ferry Dock for you and your luggage.
STAYING ON ISLAND

If you are going to the island and checked your luggage at the Highlands, your luggage will be on the island (check your luggage tag for the dock or your hotel)

If you are going to the island and did NOT check your luggage, the shuttles can transport you and your luggage.
VISITING ISLAND & CITY
Not Staying on the Island

If you checked your luggage at the Highlands to Mac City, you can pick up your luggage at the remote lot shed/garage

You can park at your hotel or at the remote lot and take the shuttle to the ferry if you are going to the Island
Not Staying in Mac City or The Island?
If you are not staying in either Mac City or on the Island, and only attending the Celebration Party at the Crossings at Mackinaw or grabbing dinner, we recommend parking in the large retail lot for the afternoon. It has free parking for visitors of the Crossings.
ADDITIONAL PARKING
Yes, there are other options offered by Arnold and other lots in the city. Arnold offers tiered parking options and locations ranging from Dockside for $40 to Overnight Valet $130.
Zoo-de-Mack, Inc. and owners of parking lots are NOT responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items left in your vehicle.

Registration
Register online today! Late walk-up registrations are available on-site at the Highlands on Friday, May 21 and Saturday May 22, 2027.
Jerseys
Order your custom jerseys online! These will not be sold at the ride. Choose from long, short, or sleeveless in either men or women's cut.
Hotels
There are many options for hotels. Most riders will either split their nights between The Highlands/Harbor Springs and the Island or book a 2-night stay at our ZDM discounted room block in Mackinaw City. Big Bear Adventures can assist you with your shuttle and transportation needs.
Book early and save!
Shuttles
There are several options for transportation depending on your ride (full or half) or where you are staying Friday or Saturday nights. Big Bear Adventures is the official shuttle provider for Zoo-de-Mack.
If you are staying in the Mackinaw City 2-night room block, there are several options for getting to and from the Highlands with our without your bike on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Check out Big Bear Adventures page for options!
Ferry Tickets
Ferry tickets are NOT included in your registration fee. If you wish to visit Mackinac Island, tickets must be purchased additionally during the ride registration process for the discounted group rates. Ferry tickets will also be available for purchase on-site.
Official T-Shirts & Swag
- The annual Zoo-de-Mack event shirts are ordered during the registration process and are also available on-site.
- Offical ZDM Swag will be offered on-site only and offers specialty ZDM themed hoodies, vets, shirts, hats, tank tops, gators and more!
- Official ZDM jerseys are ordered separately through Peak 1 Sports.
